Churchie embarked on a week of travel, fostering connections with boarding families and Old Boys throughout the state of Queensland.

As proud sponsors, Churchie once again demonstrated its unwavering support for rural communities by sponsoring the Muttaburra Stock Show and the Isolated Children’s Parents’ Association Queensland Inc State Conference, organized by ICPA QLD INC. These esteemed country institutions play a crucial role in supporting and empowering families and children in remote areas.

In addition to these significant events, Churchie had the privilege of co-hosting a delightful function with St Margaret’s Anglican Girls School. The event took place at the Downs Club in Toowoomba and was attended by Churchie’s Headmaster Dr Alan Campbell and members of both school communities. The occasion provided an excellent opportunity for networking and fostering relationships among like-minded individuals.

The warm welcome extended by the communities visited during this eventful week left a lasting impression on Churchie. The genuine hospitality and enthusiasm showcased by the attendees further solidified the strong bonds between Churchie and the communities it serves.

Looking ahead, Churchie eagerly anticipates future encounters with familiar faces and new connections in the upcoming “on the road” events. The school’s commitment to engaging with families and communities across the country remains steadfast, ensuring that the spirit of unity and support continues to thrive.

Whether it’s the FarmFest, the Muttaburra Stock Show, or the ICPA Julia Creek, Churchie’s presence in these important events reaffirms its dedication to bridging gaps and fostering connections across Queensland. Until the next gathering, Churchie eagerly awaits the opportunity to strengthen existing relationships and forge new ones in its ongoing mission to make a positive impact on rural communities.
