A deep interest in lifelong learning, human motivation and performance, and teacher and school development, led him to complete postgraduate study in Masters and Doctoral programmes. High quality teaching programmes and vibrant, engaging curriculum development have been enthusiastically pursued throughout Alan’s career.

Alan holds memberships in the International Baccalaureate Organisation (IBO), the Headmasters' Conference (HMC) and the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD), the latter of which he is a graduate.
