Brady Downes was appointed to School Council in 2012 as the nominee of the Old Boys' Association. In 2018, Brady was reappointed to School Council by the Anglican Schools Commission. Prior to joining School Council, Brady spent over ten years on the OBA Committee, with the ﬁnal two years as President.
Brady attended Churchie from 1981 to 1984 in Magnus House. Some of the highlights of his schooling years include rowing for the Second VIII, being on Student Council, being part of The Viking (School Magazine) committee and being the Cadet Under Oﬃcer for the Australian Air Force Cadets.
Continuing his association with the cadets after leaving school, Brady is currently the National Brand Manager, which is a role that looks after the branding and image reputation for the AAFC across Australia.
Upon completing university, Brady began his career in advertising and communications and is now the Managing Director of Look Education, a graphic design studio based in Brisbane. Brady's experience revolves around corporate identity and communication solutions for print and web.
Brady is married with two children and enjoys reading, history, walking and watching Formula One, Moto GP and AFL.
