Constantine Castrisos was appointed to the School Council in late 2017 and is an Old Boy of the school, having attended Churchie from 1972 to 1977. Con is the Old Boys’ Association (OBA) nominee to School Council and has been a member of OBA Committee since 2008. He served as President of the Association from 2011 to 2016.
Con grew up in Tully, North Queensland and moved to Brisbane during his primary school years. Upon completion of his secondary schooling, Con attended Queensland Institute of Technology (now QUT) where he completed a Diploma of Business Services followed by a Bachelor of Laws. In 1986, Con became a partner with the legal firm H Drakos and Company for which he continues to work.
Con has developed interests and owned businesses associated with the Restaurant and Catering industries and his expertise has enabled him to act as a key stakeholder across different associations supporting the industry. Con has now devoted many years to supporting the restaurant industry at a national and international level, including as a Queensland Board member of the Restaurants and Catering Queensland Association and State President from 1999 to 2004. Con was also elected to the national Board of the Restaurant and Catering Association in 2000 and was National President from 2002 to 2009. He also chaired the Industry Action Agenda from 2005 to 2008.
Con is married with three children.
