The School has requested that the Minister for State Development, Manufacturing, Infrastructure and Planning designate our premises at Oaklands Parade, East Brisbane, Queensland, as an education facility.
This refers to an area adjoining Barker Street, Heath Street, Hilton Street and Stanley Terrace, East Brisbane, and Jopp Street, Norman Park. We have done this in accordance with Chapter 2, Part 5 of the Planning Act 2016. The proposed infrastructure designation applies to the land owned by Anglican Church Grammar School.
If the MID is approved, our premises at East Brisbane will be identified as being available for education facilities. This designation would acknowledge and reflect what we use this land for today.
You may have questions about the MID process and the proposed master plan. The School will be holding a drop-in information session on Monday 14 October at 5 pm in The Centenary Library, where you can have your questions answered. Alternatively, you can submit an enquiry online or phone The School on 3896 2200.
Submit an enquiry or register to attend the community information session.
