Churchie's four tenets

Churchie’s uniqueness is expressed through our focus on the whole person as defined by our four tenets:
Building on the four tenets, Churchie’s personalised learning programme is central to empowering every student to develop knowledge, skills and values that allow him to grow into an accomplished young man.

Churchie’s founding headmaster, Canon Morris, believed boys need a clear sense of what is right, honesty and integrity, clear parameters, perseverance and patience, and courage and courtesy. His vision, as is ours, is for Churchie students to become confident, compassionate, educated young men; in his words, ‘a gift to Australia and its future'.

Learning and behavioural values
Alongside the four founding tenets, Churchie has 11 learning and behavioural values. Through the teaching of these values, Churchie students see the best in themselves: their achievements, their efforts, their friendships, their beliefs and their future. Read more about these values here.
