William Harris (2021)

Congratulations to Old Boy William Harris (2021), who has been recognised as a Distinguished Academic Achiever at the QCE Achievement Awards.

This award is presented to students who, in being awarded a QCE, demonstrate exceptionally high achievement across a diverse range of learning options. Read more about the awards here.

While at Churchie, William achieved several awards, including The Morris Hart Memorial Prize for Second in QCE, QUT Science and Engineering Faculty Dean’s Award for Engineering Prize, The DCC Crombie Memorial Prize for academics and cricket, Subject Prize for Accounting, Subject Prize for Engineering and The WC Milligan Memorial Prize for English. He was also Magnus House Captain and Captain of Cricket in 2021.

William has accepted the Sir Samuel Griffith Scholarship to study a Bachelor of Medical Science at Griffith University, followed by a Doctor of Medicine.
