The recent school holidays provided an opportunity for many of our students to engage in learning activities abroad.

A very talented group of choral and orchestral musicians travelled to Beijing, China to take part in the Tutti Beijing Festival. Churchie's service tour to Cambodia provided boys with opportunities to learn and teach children from the Bamboo Shoots Primary School and to experience, first-hand, the education in a developing nation. A small group of the School’s Naval Cadets were invited to participate in naval exercises in Sweden, while senior biology students undertook wildlife conservation research in Malawi, Africa.

Closer to home, 36 Prep School boys took part in a sporting and cultural tour of New Zealand, with basketball, football and rugby teams playing their counterparts from St Andrew’s College and Medbury School, both in Christchurch.
