Recent Year 12 graduate Lachlan Macfarlane's short film Solitaria was awarded Best Drama at the Bond University Film and Television Awards. Lachlan was also awarded the Jury Prize which attracts a 25 per cent scholarship to Bond's Film and Television Degree programme. There were 280 student films submitted from across Australia for this year's competition.
In accepting his award, Lachlan spoke with great dignity and humility and was a credit to Churchie. Congratulations to Lachlan and we wish him luck in his future film and television endeavours.
