Three in a row

A solid team effort saw Churchie win the Old Boys’ Cup at Head of the River for the third year in a row on Saturday 13 March.

Of the 30 races on the day, Churchie managed to get three third places, five second places and 15 wins—meaning the School won half of the available races and half of the boys in the shed tasted victory.

Consequently, Churchie won the Old Boys Cup in the second-highest points score of all time—a display of shed and programme dominance over the GPS.

Special mention to the Open First VIII, who missed out on the Head of the River victory by less than two seconds.
