Boarding bursaries

Boarding bursaries

Churchie is pleased to offer a limited number of financial assistance boarding bursaries to students living in rural and remote Australia who would not otherwise have the financial means to attend the School, but who exemplify the four tenets of the School and would contribute meaningfully to the boarding community. The boarding bursaries will provide a remission to the boarding fee component. Bursary applicants must be Australian citizens or permanent residents.

Expressions of interest for 2025 boarding bursaries have now closed.

Expressions of interest for 2026 boarding bursaries will open in late 2024.

The application process

  1. An expression of interest form is completed.
  2. The School will provide a declaration of financial position for parents to complete and will request the student to provide a written response to eligibility criteria. Parents will also be asked to submit school reports, NAPLAN results, and any other supporting documentation required.
  3. If successful, the applicant will be asked to complete a formal Churchie application and will be invited to an enrolment interview.
  4. Following a successful interview, the student will receive an offer of a boarding place at Churchie.
