David Nolan appointed Deputy Headmaster
After an extensive national recruitment process, undertaken in partnership with School Council and Hutton Consulting Australia, Churchie is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr David Nolan as Deputy Headmaster, effective from July 2026.
David currently serves as Deputy Headmaster at St Peter’s College in Adelaide. The College is a leading Anglican boys’ day and boarding school offering both SACE and IB pathways, and is a school with which Churchie shares a long-standing association. He brings broad experience in senior and executive educational leadership across Queensland, Victoria and South Australia, having previously served as Head of Middle School and Deputy Principal – Learning and Teaching.
David holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Education and offers significant expertise in school governance, a deep understanding of boys’ education and a strong commitment to the Anglican tradition of schooling.
A Queenslander by upbringing, David is also a Churchie Old Boy, graduating in 1994. His personal connection to the School, combined with his professional experience and leadership in Anglican boys’ education, positions him exceptionally well to contribute to Churchie’s continued growth and strategic direction.
David looks forward to joining the Churchie community at the beginning of Term 3, 2026 and working alongside staff, students and families in the years ahead.
