2023 GPS Swimming Championships
Congratulations to our 10 to 12 years and under swimmers on their second-place finish at the GPS Junior Swimming Championships held on Friday 3 March 2023 at Brisbane Aquatic Centre.
All swimmers performed well on the day, with 14 first places, eight second places and six third-place finishes.
The highlight of the morning was the 11 years and under division 1 medley relay team, who took out first place with a time of 2:33.55. Well done, Fraser Kilimnik, Xavier Ringholt, Harris Shonhan and Lucas Pollock.
Our senior team also performed well at the GPS Swimming Championships in the evening, coming in fifth place, trailing The Southport School by only 18 points.
The highlight of the night was Will Shepherd-Smith’s first-place performance in the 16 years and under 100 m freestyle in a phenomenal time of 52.87 seconds.
Well done to all swimmers, coaches, support staff and parents on another successful season.
