Goodwin at Government House
On Tuesday 21 November 2023, three Year 7 Goodwin students Maison Cory, Joey Gibbs-O’Neill and Isaiah Missen had the honour of being welcomed to Government House by the Governor of Queensland Her Excellency the Honourable Dr Jeannette Young AC PSM and Professor Graeme Nimmo RFD.
The young men attended an event in support of Yalari, a not-for-profit organisation that offers scholarships at leading Australian boarding schools for Indigenous children from regional and remote communities.
It provided a great opportunity for Yalari supporters, volunteers, students, school staff and alumni to gather on the beautiful grounds of Government House as the school year comes to a close.
