Oaklands renovations to enhance early learning
Exciting upgrades are underway at Oaklands Childcare and Kindergarten, strengthening the foundation of Churchie’s early learning community. Beginning in early November, the staged refurbishment will deliver refreshed learning spaces, upgraded play areas and modernised facilities that enhance safety, comfort and engagement for our youngest learners.
Open throughout the works
Oaklands will remain open throughout the works, with careful scheduling ensuring minimal disruption to children’s daily routines. Safety remains the highest priority. Secure boundaries and access controls will ensure children and contractors remain entirely separate.
No impact on parking or traffic
Importantly, the project has been carefully planned to avoid any impact on parking or traffic around Oaklands and the broader school. Contractor access will be contained to a designated compound on Barker Street, maintaining the usual ease of access for families.
